For decades, she was a key figure in the Southern Baptist Convention, but came under criticism in 2016 for speaking out against the SBC’s handling of sexual abuse scandals, misogyny, and political alignment with Donald Trump after dozens of women accused him of sexual assault. She eventually left the denomination altogether in 2021. Skye sat down with Beth to hear her story and find out why, through it all, she is still following Jesus.
